Business Book Awards accolade for Building Inclusion

WHOOOOOOP! From shortlisted finalist to award-winner! We’re delighted that Building Inclusion has won the Highly Commended accolade at the 2025 Business Book Awards.

The announcement was made by Kasim Choudhry of ThinkFest.

The event, held in Wembley on Wed 10th September 2025, celebrated the best in Business Books across a range of 14 categories.

Building Inclusion was highlighted in the Diversity and Inclusion category, and appears to be the only book about the built environment across all 147 books shortlisted.

The judges’ citation was especially gratifying: “Building Inclusion focuses on the built environment, where design, people, and culture intersect. It’s clear, practical, and deeply informed, offering tools for leaders and changemakers to embed inclusion into spaces where people live and work. Thoughtful, relevant, and accessible, it’s a valuable book for professionals across the sector.”

Tributes and congratulations poured in from across the built environment for the achievement, as Building Inclusion is the first book of its kind for the sector.
